AMORYN Means Happiness
AMORYN - Hyperforin vs. Paxil® (Paroxetine) - Clinically-Proven Natural Antidepressant
Discover AMORYN, a natural supplement containing ingredients proven to relieve depression and anxiety. Clinical research shows that the main ingredient in AMORYN, hyperforin from St. John's wort, treats depression as or more effectively than Paxil® (paroxetine) but has a far lower occurence of side effects.

The results of a recent clinical trial1 led researchers to conclude that that hyperforin-rich St. John's Wort extract, "is at least as effective as paroxetine [Paxil®] over six weeks... in outpatients with moderate or severe unipolar major depression." The dose of St. John's Wort extract used in the study, 900-1800 mg/day, is the same dose delivered by 2-4 capsules of AMORYN. And like the St. John's Wort used in the study, AMORYN contains pharmaceutical-grade St. John's Wort (SJW) extract standardized to a minimum of 3-5% hyperforin.

AMORYN is manufactured according to strict quality-assurance standards, ensuring that every bottle consistently provides the clinically proven potency and purity. The results of this commitment to quality are apparent from the real results experienced by AMORYN users. Order AMORYN today to take advantage of its mood-enhancing benefits, or continue reading for details about research comparing AMORYN's main ingredient to Paxil® (paroxetine).

Study Details: A 2005 study1 published in the British Medical Journal compared the effects of hyperforin (from SJW extract with minimum 3% hyperforin) to paroxetine (Paxil®) in 251 patients with moderate-severe depression. The patients in this randomized, controlled, double-blind trial took either paroxetine (Paxil®) or SJW extract for a total of six weeks, starting with a daily dose of 20 mg paroxetine or 900 mg SJW extract. For patients who failed to respond after two weeks (about 50% of each group), the doses were doubled to 40 mg paroxetine or 1800 mg SJW extract.

Reduction in Symptoms
At the end of the trial, the results showed the clear superiority of hyperforin over paroxetine (Paxil®) as a treatment for severe depression After six weeks of treatment, symptoms of depression were reduced by 57% in the group taking hyperforin versus 45% in the paroxetine group, a statistically significant difference. A greater percentage of people taking hyperforin (71% vs. 60%) experienced a positive response to treatment (defined as at least a 50% reduction in symptoms of depression). And fifty percent (50%) of the patients taking hyperforin showed remission (i.e. complete recovery) compared to just 35% of those taking paroxetine. Moreover, the incidence of side effects was 42% lower for people taking hyperforin. (For complete results, see table below.)

These findings demonstrate that hyperforin-rich St. John's Wort extract, in doses delivered by 2-4 AMORYN capsules, relieves even severe depression better than paroxetine (Paxil®), a leading antidepressant drug. AMORYN BottleThe same doses of SJW extract used in the study, 900 mg and 1800 mg, are provided by two and four capsules of AMORYN. More importantly, AMORYN's pharmaceutical-grade SJW extract is standardized to contain a minimum of 3-5% hyperforin (yielding 22.5mg hyperforin per capsule), ensuring that AMORYN delivers doses of hyperforin similar to those in this trial. (This research applies only to SJW extracts that, like AMORYN, contain at least 3% hyperforin. Most brands of SJW sold in the United States are not standardized for hyperforin and contain less than 0.5%. Studies comparing SJW extracts with 5% and 0.5% to placebo show that only the higher concentration of hyperforin relieves depression, but the lower amount performs no more effectively than placebo.)

In addition to Paxil®, clinical research has shown that hyperforin works just as well for depression as Prozac® (fluoxetine), Zoloft® (sertraline) and many other prescription antidepressants. In fact, over two dozen controlled clinical trials prove the ability of hyperforin, along with the other natural ingredients in AMORYN, to improve mood, relieve anxiety and panic, and support emotional health. The research findings are confirmed by AMORYN's real-world success rates. After taking AMORYN for six weeks, an extraordinary 90.2% of individuals with depression, 87.5% with anxiety, and 87.8% with panic attacks report positive results.

Because AMORYN is a natural supplement, not a drug, you can order AMORYN online without a prescription. If you or a loved one struggles with negative emotions - sadness and emptiness, worry and fear, hopelessness and guilt - try AMORYN today to find the happiness you deserve without drugs or nasty side effects.

As shown by the graph below, most AMORYN users that have previously taken prescription
medications for depression rate AMORYN as superior to antidepressant drugs:
