How long must I take AMORYN before I start feeling better? |
AMORYN works gradually and will not produce immediate improvement, and most people must take AMORYN every day for many weeks to see results.
More than half of AMORYN users experience results in four weeks or less, but in some cases 6-8 weeks may pass before AMORYN begins working.
Once AMORYN starts to work, it may continue to produce increasing improvement for many weeks, so it may not achieve maximum effectiveness
for eight weeks or more.
Although AMORYN works gradually, the long-term effects can be quite dramatic. (We often hear from clients who eventually experienced great results after
nearly giving up. They often didn't recognize that AMORYN was working until, after taking the supplement for many weeks, they woke up one day and realized
that they felt much better than before.) If you don't start experiencing changes in the first four weeks, it may help to raise the daily dose
to three or four capsules daily.

What's the difference between the St. John's wort in AMORYN and other St. John's wort extracts? |
AMORYN contains a standardized amount of hyperforin, the active ingredient in St. John's wort.
A daily dose (two capsules) of AMORYN contains at least 36mg of hyperforin, an amount
shown in clinical trials to help relieve depression. In fact, the St. John's wort extract
in AMORYN is the same "pharmaceutical grade" extract prescribed in Europe for depression.
Most other St. John's wort formulas
are practically worthless because they do not contain a significant amount of hyperforin.
Be wary of products that claim to be "standardized", because most standardize only for hypericin (but not hyperforin).
While hypericin may have some activity, hyperforin is the primary active ingredient. In other words, AMORYN
contains the highest quality St. John's wort in the world, and
is the only product that uses the power of science to harness the full healing potential of St. John's wort. If you're currently taking
another brand of St. John's Wort, there's no need to continue taking it once you start taking AMORYN.

| Is AMORYN a prescription medication? |
No, AMORYN is a natural supplement, not a drug. A prescription is not
necessary to purchase
AMORYN. (Please keep in mind that AMORYN has not been approved by the FDA for the treatment of any medical condition.
Although clinical research shows that the main ingredient
in AMORYN can help relieve mild or moderate depression, AMORYN should not be considered

| What's the difference between AMORYN and SEREDYN? |
Both AMORYN and SEREDYN
can help relieve anxiety and panic. But the supplements contain different ingredients that work through different mechanisms.
One dose of SEREDYN works quickly (i.e. within 15-60 minutes) to provide a sense of calm and tranquility. SEREDYN can be taken every day,
although it's also effective when taken occasionally as needed.
AMORYN must be taken every day and does not have an immediate effect. Rather, AMORYN works gradually over many weeks. But after six weeks, 90% of users with depression and 88% with anxiety report positive results.
Because AMORYN is also effective at relieving depression, you should order AMORYN if you suffer primarily from depression.
If you're interested in a supplement to help relieve occasional and mild anxiety, then you should order SEREDYN.

Should I take AMORYN every day, or only "as needed"? |
AMORYN should be taken everyday. Missing a dose occasionally is not a problem,
but it is not intended to be taken sporadically or on an "as needed" basis.
For most people, AMORYN
must be taken at least once a day for many days or weeks before benefits are noticed.

How many capsules should I take daily? |
The recommended adult dose is two capsules daily, and this dose works well for most people. If you don't experience any improvement after
taking AMORYN for four weeks, you may increase the dose to three or four capsules daily.
Remember that most people don't see results immediately, so allow AMORYN at least a few weeks to start working before raising the dose.
If you're particularly sensitive, small, or experience side effects, consider decreasing the dose to one capsule daily. Even
this dose is effective for many people.

When, during the day, should I take AMORYN? |
Start by taking one capsule in the morning and one capsule in the afternoon or early evening. You can
adjust this schedule if necessary. Do not take more than one capsule at a time. Capsules should be taken
at least a few hours apart to maximize absorption and effectiveness. Feel free to adjust the schedule as needed.
For instance, in the unlikely event that you experience insomnia, take your last dose earlier in the day.

Can I take AMORYN if I am currently taking a prescription anti-anxiety medication? |
AMORYN can be safely combined with benzodiazepines such as Valium® (diazepam), Xanax® (alprazolam), and Ativan® (Lorazepam).
You should consult your doctor before combining AMORYN with any other prescription anti-anxiety medications, including SSRI drugs.

Is AMORYN safe for children? |
AMORYN is safe for teenagers, but children under twelve (12) should not take
AMORYN without the supervision of a pediatrician. Teenagers under eighteen (18) years of age
should take AMORYN
only with the consent and supervision of their parents or guardians. Young children should start
with a dose of one-half (1/2) capsule daily, and teenagers should begin with a dose of one (1) capsule daily. Dosage
can be increased after two weeks.

Is it safe to take AMORYN while pregnant or nursing? |
There is no specific evidence to suggest that taking AMORYN while pregnant or nursing is
unsafe for either mother or baby. We insist, however, that you consult your physician
before taking AMORYN (or any other supplement) while pregnant or nursing.

Is it safe to consume alcohol while taking AMORYN? |
Yes, consumption of small amounts of alcohol is safe while taking AMORYN. No evidence suggests
that AMORYN increases the risk of
drinking larger quantities of alcohol, but the makers of AMORYN advise against it.
Alcohol abuse can prevent recovery from depression and anxiety.

Can I take AMORYN if I am already taking prescription medications? |
If you are currently taking prescription medications, consult your physician before taking AMORYN.
AMORYN can be taken safely with most prescription medications, but there are a few exceptions. Do not take AMORYN if you are currently
taking an MAO inhibitor. If you are currently taking an SSRI antidepressant or any other psychiatric medication,
take AMORYN only under the close supervision of a physician.
AMORYN may reduce the effectiveness of some HIV treatments and oral contraceptives.

Can I take AMORYN with other vitamins or nutritional supplements? |
Yes, it's safe to take AMORYN if you are also taking other vitamins or nutritional supplements. In fact, we recommend taking a common multivitamin (e.g. Centrum, One-A-Day)
with AMORYN. Taking complementary supplements such as Omega-3 Fatty Acids (commonly provided in fish oil) and SAM-e may supplement the mood-enhancement provided by AMORYN.

Although most people taking AMORYN do not experience side effects, mild side effects are possible.
The most common side effects are headache and stomach upset. Other possible side effects include nausea, insomnia, fatigue, and increased sensitivity to sunlight.
Some people may experience a temporary increase in anxiety when they first start taking AMORYN. When taken for at least one month, however,
AMORYN typically reduces anxiety.

Sexual side effects are rare. In fact, we have not received a single report
of impotence or severe loss of libido due to AMORYN. Many people report that AMORYN actually improves sexual function.

Does AMORYN cause weight gain? |
Although every person responds differently, AMORYN does not cause weight gain in most people. In fact,
some of the ingredients in AMORYN may actually help to suppress
appetite. Keep in mind that anxiety and depression are often accompanied by drastic changes in appetite and weight.

What should I do if I have difficulty sleeping after taking AMORYN? |
For most people, AMORYN improves sleep patterns. But a small number of people experience difficulty sleeping after starting AMORYN. To some degree,
this is a positive sign. Hypersomnia (i.e. sleeping too much) is a common symptom of depression. As you begin to overcome depression with the help
of AMORYN, you may begin to require less sleep. A reduction of a few hours per night is normal. But if you experience significant insomnia or sleep disturbance
then you should adjust your dosing schedule. Taking the second dose earlier in the day often resolves the problem. (For instance, you might take your second dose
with lunch or in the early afternoon rather than in the evening.) If you still have trouble sleeping, try reducing the dose to one capsule daily in the morning.
Even this dose is effective for many people. |

What should I do if I experience headaches when taking AMORYN? |
Headache is the most common side effect of AMORYN. (Keep in mind, however, that only about 10% of AMORYN users report experiencing headaches.)
Headaches caused by AMORYN often disappear after taking AMORYN for a few days or weeks.
Try drinking extra water, as this quickly solves the problem for most people. If headaches persist, try reducing your daily dose to one capsule in the morning.
